$2500 + Weddings - includes some retouching but not prints

$195 / hr HD video, min 4 hours

Photo Shoots on location are $2500/day plus expenses (Travel, Hotel, Supplies)

re Santa Maria Shoot

Good News, Bad News:

Bad News first:

WEM administration wants me to pay $150/hr + gst for the space for 4 hours = $600. I personally think it is rediculous. I can get a room at the hotel for less. I offered them $100 for the space for the 4 hours and they came back and stated $300 + gst was the lowest they would go. Considering it was free last year I declined the offer.

Good News:

I have two beautiful Models scheduled for this Sundays shoot. I still want to keep the Pirate theme. So I have decided to move it to my studio. 8908-169st, 6pm - 11pm Aug 23, 2009. It is still going to be a photo challenge with professional studio lighting provided and everyone will be given fair and equal opportunity to photograph the models and setup the equipment. If you simply want to come to observe and learn that is welcome as well. Small fee of $20 to cover the models, make up and hair. So far I have close to 20 confirmed photographers, please send me a message asap so I can confirm everyone before the shoot, this is going to be a great learning experience and fun time together. Let the creativity begin.

I am proposing a club meeting for Sunday Aug 23, 2009 that would involve an on location photo shoot in which all members would be able to get instruction from the pro's in the group about the available studio lighting on set. I will provide models, lighting, location and the first confirmed 40 will get a set amount of time to try their hand at studio lighting with a model. This will be a great growing experience. I propose a small fee of $20 to cover the models, food, coffee and equipment. I'll need at least 20 confirmations to go ahead with this plan. One of the proposed locations is on the Santa Maria boat in WEM with models dressed up like pirates. would be a lot of fun. I even have a fog machine and 5 lights, gel filters, etc.
